Sunday, February 8th: “Rise Up: Focus”
This Sunday, we’ll be learning from Isaiah’s instructions to the people of Judah, before they return home after 50 years of exile in Babylon. This is an invitation to the people to focus on and remember that they are loved by their ancient God. Today, we need to also listen to God’s invitation, get on the move, and have confidence that God truly answers. But these steps may not be enough in themselves, to sustain us during the challenging times of our lives. We have to stay focused on where we’re heading. And we need to stay focused on the one who gives us the power to get there!
