Sunday, February 1st: “Rise Up: Answer”
This Sunday, we’ll be learning from Moses’ instructions to the people of Israel, before they enter the Promised Land without him. The people’s main question was “Who will speak with God for us?” Moses answers “The prophets,” but that’s not God’s ultimate answer. Instead, Jesus is God’s ultimate answer, the fulfillment of all the prophecies, and the one whom God had been preparing the people for all along. When Jesus finally came, he made God’s will known and God’s forgiveness and love fully understood. In Jesus, we have our answer!
