Sunday, January 11th: “Rise Up: God Is Speaking!”
John the Baptist spoke the words of God, calling people to turn from the darkness of their sin to the light of repentance, and a relationship with Jesus. God is still speaking to us today! Like John the Baptist, we, as both individuals and as the faith community of New Life UMC, are to reflect that same light of Jesus. God is calling us to rise up, to lift our heads, to open our arms wide and to let our hearts burst with God’s love!
